MPKI LITE
VeriSign Managed PKI Lite from NIFTeTRUST is an entry
level service designed to issue smaller numbers of Certificates,
scaling from 25 certificates to a maximum of 1000 certificates.
It's extremely easy to set-up and use and allows you
to begin issuing trusted Digital Certificates in just
a few days rather than the months needed to build a
robust PKI from scratch. It enables enterprises to secure
a single type of application - e-mail, intranet, extranet,

Included in Managed PKI Lite are;

Certification Authority - a
single CA configurable to issue Certificates for one
type of application, for example access control to an
extranet, or for e-mail security.

Public or Private Hierarchy -
select as appropriate to your needs.

Manual Administrator Kit -
Administrator Digital Certificate enabling secure online
control of the service plus, smart card and smart card
reader included with certain options.
Public digital certificates are suited to organizations
wishing to secure e-mail messages as well as enable
access to intranets, extranets, or e-commerce applications
on a broad scale. Public digital certificates are interoperable,
allowing you to also communicate outside of your private
domain.
Private digital certificates are suited to internal
applications and allow you to restrict access to areas
of your network. Since they are not interoperable with
Internet-wide applications such as major browsers, servers
and e-mail packages, private digital certificates allow
for greater control in a closed network.
